Another way to look at balance is to consider what you need based on what you’re feeling. For instance, root vegetables. Roots are the foundation of a plant, they are grounded. When you eat root vegetables, they make you feel more grounded. So if you feel like you are all over the place or flighty, eat a few root vegetables.
